January 5-6, 2001: Shabbat Seminar, Neve Ilan

80 adults and their children attended this family weekend which was intended to encourage dialog and questions on the new situation created by Intifada Al Aqsa.

January 18, 2001: Dr. Devorah Weissman - "Can Religion be a Force for Peace in the Middle East?" Marie Curie University in Lublin, Poland

February 1, 2001: Education for peace between Jews and Arabs within Israel - Conference sponsored by WCRP-Israel and ICCI

Feb. 3, 2001: Dr. Devorah Weissman - discussion on current events in Israel with a group of Christians from St. George. Jerusalem Israel

February 6, 2001: Election day. "From Disagreement to Cooperation" - a day of song, prayer and learning on the future of the State of Israel. In cooperation with Temurot

March 9, 2001: Food convoy to Palestinians under curfew - part of the Purim commandment to provide food parcels to one's neighbors

April 17, 2001: "To recognize the suffering of the other: religious obligation, psychological challenge" panel discussion held at the Shalom Hartman Institute in Jerusalem. Speakers were Dr. Shafiq M'salcha, Dr. Daniel Brom, Dr. Muhammad Hurani, Rabbi David Rosen, moderator was Prof. Alice Shalvi. Sponsored by the Hans Seidel Foundation
